Immediately after the incident, representatives of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation and the Nguyen Luong Bang Commune Labor Union worked with the enterprise, while grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the workers.
Through verification, the enterprise has not signed a written labor contract with the employee, leading to conflicts, and the employee is not confident in working. The fact that social insurance payment results have not been made public to all employees also leads to frustration. Along with that, this company has not strictly implemented regulations on periodic dialogue and collective bargaining (Article 63 of the Labor Code). At Yawanhong Company Limited alone, the leaders have not created conditions for workers to establish a Trade Union to represent, protect, and care for their rights in a timely manner according to the provisions of law.
Previously, in July 2025, there was a collective work stoppage at Vinh Han Precision Technology Co., Ltd. (Phuc Dien Industrial Park, in Mao Dien commune, Hai Phong). The reason for the termination is that in June 2025, the company increased salaries for the technical department and some other departments, but did not increase salaries for the processing department.
Trade unions participate promptly, protect workers' rights
Regarding the case at Vinh Han Precision Technology Co., Ltd., the City Labor Federation established a working group to work with the company's Board of Directors.
Through working, the company's Board of Directors agreed with the two recommendations of the employees. The company does not make it difficult for workers to find new jobs when their labor contracts are terminated. At the same time, it will review working hours, salary scales and other regulations to ensure full compliance with labor law. By 12:00 on July 9, the number of workers who had stopped working had returned to work normally.
Regarding the incident at Yawanhong Company Limited and Longshore Coffee Printing Joint Stock Company, the City Labor Federation Working Group mobilized, propagated, and instructed workers to comply with the law, not to let agitation or large gatherings occur. The enterprise has agreed to resolve the recommendations of employees, issue a notice of commitment to sign a labor contract in full text and coordinate to establish a grassroots trade union as soon as possible. On October 8, 100% of workers returned to work.
The timely participation of the city's trade union affirms the role of the trade union organization in ensuring the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, enhancing the position and prestige of the trade union organization among workers.
After each work stoppage, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation requires businesses to publicize the contents of their commitments to employees. At the same time, direct the grassroots trade unions to continue to closely follow and grasp the concerns of workers to coordinate in timely resolution; focus on periodic and ad hoc dialogue activities to resolve workers' problems, limit prolonged conflicts leading to work stoppages. Regarding the case at Yawanhong Company Limited, the City Labor Federation assigned the Nguyen Luong Bang Commune Labor Union to support the grassroots to soon establish a Trade Union organization so that the rights and interests of workers can be guaranteed.
