Trade unions support workers with work-related accidents with a disability rate of 51%

Hanoi - On the occasion of Workers' Month, Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene, Hanoi Industry and Trade workers who have occupational accidents are supported by the Trade Union.

Accordingly, on May 25, the Hanoi Industry and Trade Trade Union said that the leaders of the Hanoi City Labor Federation directly visited and presented gifts to two workers of Dong Anh Cement Joint Stock Company.

They are Mr. Nghiem Manh Hoanh, who suffered a broken left eye injury with a disability rate of 41% and Mr. Hoang Xuan Loc, who suffered a work accident with a disability rate of 51%. The Hanoi City Labor Federation presented each union member with 3 million VND in cash and 1 gift in kind.

Leaders of the City Labor Federation also visited Dong Anh Chips Joint Stock Company to visit and provide support to 3 workers who suffered serious work-related accidents. Each worker received a gift worth 3 million VND in cash and a gift in kind.

In addition, the Hanoi Industry and Trade Trade Union also has practical gifts to give to union members and workers.

On this occasion, the City Labor Federation acknowledged and highly appreciated the effective implementation of activities to care for union members and workers by all levels of the Hanoi Industry and Trade Union.

The leaders of the City Labor Federation also requested that industry unions and enterprises at all levels continue to build a safe working environment, promote propaganda to employees to comply with factory regulations, especially regulations on labor safety to minimize labor accidents.
