Giving thousands of Tet gifts to union members in difficult circumstances
According to Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, provincial trade union levels have focused resources on comprehensive care for union members and workers (NLĐ).
Implementing the "2026 Online Trade Union Tet Market" Program implemented by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Labor Federation has distributed 5,080 shopping vouchers on e-commerce platforms (worth 500,000 VND/voucher) to union members and workers.
From the financial resources of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, a working delegation led by Party and State leaders presented 300 gifts (worth 2.3 million VND/gift) to workers in difficult circumstances in the area.
Leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour also visited and presented 300 gifts (1 million VND in cash and a necessity bag worth 300,000 VND) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
From trade union financial and socialized sources, trade union levels have simultaneously organized the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" Program associated with the 2026 Trade Union Tet Market.
The Provincial Labor Federation organized the program in 4 main areas: Nam Khanh Hoa, Bac Khanh Hoa, Naval Region 4 and Suoi Dau Industrial Park. Through this, 10,540 union members and workers in difficult circumstances were supported with 1 million VND/person, with a total budget of more than 10 billion VND.
In parallel with that, nearly 60 0-dong booths and discounted booths have served union members and workers with many essential items such as cakes, candies, jams, soft drinks, fruits, coffee, clothes... ensuring quality and reasonable prices.
In general, the whole province has 92,000 union members and workers being cared for during Tet with a total budget of nearly 47 billion VND from grassroots trade unions. The total resource for Tet Nguyen Dan Binh Ngo 2026 care of trade union levels in the province reached more than 61.253 billion VND.
Focus on key tasks in 2026
According to a report by the Department of Home Affairs of Khanh Hoa province, the average salary of employees in 2026 reached 12.893 million VND/person/month.
Businesses in the province focus on Tet bonuses for employees with an average level: New Year bonus of 2.73 million VND/person; Lunar New Year bonus of 9.43 million VND/person.
Trade union levels have proactively grasped the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; coordinated with employers to ensure regimes and policies, contributing to maintaining stable labor relations before, during and after Tet.
According to Mr. Phan Thanh Liem, in the year, 52 "Trade Union Homes" were newly built and repaired with a total cost of more than 2.3 billion VND. During the Lunar New Year 2025, trade union levels took care of 109,808 union members and workers with a total cost of more than 58 billion VND.
In particular, during the floods at the end of 2025, the Provincial Labor Federation mobilized nearly 10 billion VND to support affected union members and workers; received 15 tons of support goods from the Can Tho City Labor Federation to promptly distribute to grassroots levels.
Entering 2026 with many goals set by the Provincial Labor Federation. In which, focus on implementing the resolutions of trade union congresses at all levels for the term 2025 - 2030, promoting care and protection of union members' rights.
Promote the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in industrial park enterprises, industrial clusters and areas with a large concentration of enterprises.
The Provincial Labor Federation also allocates resources to implement patriotic emulation movements and improve the quality of trade union officials.
