Gratitude to Trade Union officials
News from Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang City on July 19 said: Trade unions of Nam Phuoc, Dien Ban, Dien Ban Dong, Hoi An, Hoi An Tay, Thang Binh and Dai Loc communes and wards have organized a meeting and gratitude program for former leaders and former full-time Trade Union officials through various periods, towards the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
The program is a common meeting point in the series of commemorative activities of each Commune and Ward Trade Union, creating an opportunity for generations of Trade Union officials to reunite, review their work journey and express gratitude to those who have devoted much enthusiasm to the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and Trade Union activities; and at the same time add motivation for today's team of officials to inherit and promote the good traditions of the organization.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, expressed her appreciation for the contributions of generations of Trade Union officials to the workers' movement and Trade Union activities.
At the same time, he hoped that the aunts and uncles would continue to accompany, share experiences, and contribute heartfelt opinions to build an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, meeting the requirements in the new period.
In a warm atmosphere, delegates reviewed the 97-year journey of construction and growth of the Vietnam Trade Union, the imprints of the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers in Quang Nam in the past and Da Nang city today.
Many stories about the journey of accompanying union members and workers; about the spirit of responsibility and dedication of trade union officials through periods are shared, contributing to arousing pride and inspiring today's generation of officials.
Rotation of host organization
At the program, representatives of commune and ward trade unions presented flowers and gifts in gratitude to former leaders and former full-time trade union officials through various periods.
Each bouquet of flowers and gift is a sincere sentiment and thank you to those who have contributed their enthusiasm and effort to the cause of building the Trade Union organization and caring for union members and workers.
This year's program is even more meaningful when it is organized in the first year of implementing the two-level local government model and rearranging the Trade Union organization.
Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union was agreed by units to host the first program, acting as a focal point connecting localities, contributing to preserving the tradition of gratitude and tightening the relationship between generations of Trade Union officials after arranging the organizational structure.
Units agree to take turns hosting the program annually, so that the meeting becomes a meaningful rendezvous for generations of Trade Union officials. Accordingly, Thang Binh Commune Trade Union will be the unit hosting the program in 2027.
The meeting and gratitude program is not only an opportunity to look back at the glorious journey of the Vietnam Trade Union organization but also to spread the good values of gratitude, inheritance and solidarity.
