News from An Hai Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on July 19 said: Responding to the peak month of union member development, establishing grassroots trade unions to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), An Hai Ward Trade Union organized a conference to announce the decision to admit union members and establish the grassroots trade union of Mai Phuong Saigon One Member Limited Liability Company.
At the conference, the An Hai Ward Trade Union announced the decision to admit 20 employees of Mai Phuong Saigon One Member Limited Liability Company into the Trade Union organization; and at the same time announced the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Mai Phuong Saigon One Member Limited Liability Company. The Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the first term included 5 members, Ms. Uong Thi Hang was appointed as Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Do Duc Tinh - Chairman of An Hai Ward Trade Union - congratulated the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union and 20 new members officially joining the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Mr. Do Duc Tinh emphasized that the establishment of grassroots trade unions not only contributes to expanding trade union organizations in the area but also creates a bridge between workers and businesses, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
Mr. Tinh requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Mai Phuong Saigon One Member Limited Liability Company to soon develop operating regulations and work programs suitable to the actual situation of the enterprise.
Proactively coordinate with company leaders to take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; propagate and disseminate the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State and the Charter of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; launch patriotic emulation movements, the movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income", contributing to improving productivity, quality, and business efficiency.
For new union members, Mr. Tinh hopes that each union member will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, actively participate in trade union activities, well comply with labor regulations, constantly improve professional qualifications and skills, and work with businesses to develop sustainably and build an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
