On September 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province held a groundbreaking ceremony for 50 "Great Unity" houses. This is a project to celebrate the Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025 - 2030. These 50 "Grand Solidarity" houses were donated by the Vietnam State Bank Trade Union, with an amount of 3 billion VND.
The houses will be built for poor households, near-poor households, and households with difficult housing circumstances in 24 communes in Ca Mau province, each house worth 60 million VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Le Thanh Trieu thanked the Vietnam State Bank Trade Union for its attention to supporting housing for disadvantaged people in the province. The houses donated are not only "warm houses" to shelter from the rain and sun, but also a symbol of great solidarity, creating motivation for households with housing difficulties to feel secure in developing their economy and gradually rising out of poverty.

Mr. Tran Van Phuoc, representative of the Vietnam State Bank Trade Union, said: In recent times, the banking industry has actively responded to the emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. This is not only a charitable activity but also a social responsibility of the banking industry to contribute to sustainable poverty reduction.
Since the beginning of 2025, all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the banking sector have continued to demonstrate their sense of responsibility by contributing one day's salary each to continue supporting the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
In Ca Mau province alone, the State Bank of Vietnam Trade Union donated 50 houses to poor households and households with housing difficulties. This is a good tradition of the banking industry in accompanying and sharing with Ca Mau province in implementing social security programs.
