On September 6, the leader of Bac Lieu ward, Ca Mau province said that he was coordinating with functional units to investigate the cause of the fire that occurred at a store selling electrical and electronic goods on Ha Huy Tap street.
According to initial information, at around 9:00 p.m. on September 5, a fire suddenly broke out at the store. People shouted, broke the rolling door and used mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed. Immediately afterwards, professional firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
The fire fighting and rescue team in Bac Lieu area mobilized 2 fire trucks, 1 rescue vehicle and dozens of officers and soldiers to participate in extinguishing the fire. At around 10:15 p.m., the fire was completely controlled.
The fire did not cause any human casualties, but many properties in the store were burned down.
The cause is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
