On September 9, at the headquarters of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo's Working Group No. 1 chaired by Politburo member and President Luong Cuong, worked with representatives of the Standing Committees of the Ca Mau and Hung Yen Provincial Party Committees to give opinions on draft documents, personnel plans and preparations for the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Also attending the meeting were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien. Also attending were Mr. Nguyen Van Nen - Politburo member, Standing member of the 14th National Party Congress Documents Subcommittee; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang.

At the working session, the Working Group gave opinions on the draft main documents submitted to the Provincial Party Congresses for the 2025 - 2030 term, including the Political Report, the Report on reviewing the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, the Project on personnel at the Party Committee level for the 2025 - 2030 term and the draft Resolution of the Congress, the Action Program for implementing the resolution.
In general, documents of the provinces evaluate quite comprehensively the results achieved in the past 5 years, frankly pointing out limitations, causes and lessons learned. The orientation, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 period demonstrate the spirit of political determination, vision and new development space, identify key and breakthrough tasks, basically grasp and concretize the major policies and orientations in the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the resolutions of the Central Committee and the Politburo recently issued.
The Politburo members and the Secretariat basically agreed with the draft documents of the Ca Mau and Hung Yen Provincial Party Committees, and at the same time proposed to clarify the outstanding results, limitations, clearly identify the potential and strengths of each locality, supplement strategic visionary orientation and set requirements for each locality in the new period.
Propose that the two provinces focus on perfecting and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of local government operations at both levels, especially at the grassroots level after the merger; promoting the strength of great national unity, building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting the application of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, creating breakthroughs for rapid and sustainable development.

For Hung Yen province, President Luong Cuong suggested focusing on reviewing and developing appropriate investment policies for industrial and agricultural development; developing a number of modern industries; clean, ecological agriculture, large-scale production, applying high technology, high value increase; developing a high-quality urban system, services, and trade; developing clean energy, soon making Hung Yen an energy center of the Red River Delta.
For Ca Mau province, President Luong Cuong suggested that the province should take advantage of opportunities, advantages and potentials of the province, quickly deploy and effectively exploit Hon Khoai port, build Ca Mau into an international maritime logistics center, a gas - electricity - fertilizer industrial cluster, in addition to the strengths of seafood for comprehensive development.
Request the Hung Yen and Ca Mau Provincial Party Committees to study and absorb the opinions of Politburo members, Secretariat, central departments, ministries and branches to complete the documents and organize the Congress well.
