Attending the anniversary ceremony were Mr. Phan Huy Cuong, Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, Ward People's Committee and representatives of grassroots trade unions directly under it.
At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious 97-year tradition of building and developing the Vietnam Trade Union organization; and at the same time assessed outstanding results in trade union activities in the area in the past time.
In the first 6 months of 2026, Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union mobilized more than 1.82 billion VND to care for the lives of 6,340 turns of union members, workers and people.
Many social security activities have been effectively implemented such as the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", supporting the construction of drilled wells, giving gifts to poor households, supporting people affected by natural disasters, caring for students in difficult circumstances and implementing many projects and tasks for the community.
In addition, Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union established 7 new grassroots trade unions, developed 168 union members, exceeding the assigned targets; organized many dialogue activities, legal propaganda, care for workers' rights, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
On this occasion, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation and Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity, innovation and responsibility for union members and workers.
