On July 20, Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union organized the closing and awarding ceremony of the Sports Tournament to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
Taking place over two days, the tournament attracted more than 200 athletes from 12 grassroots trade unions competing in 4 sports including mixed men's and women's volleyball, mixed men's and women's tug-of-war, 200m men's and women's running, and pickleball with men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles events.
With the spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility, the athletes dedicated many exciting and attractive matches, creating a widespread emulation atmosphere among officials, union members and workers.
The tournament also contributes to promoting the movement of physical training and sports, improving health to successfully complete professional tasks.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 21 prizes to collectives and individuals who achieved excellent results in 7 competition categories.
In the mixed men's and women's volleyball event, the Tram Tau Protection Forest Management Board won the First Prize. The First Prize in the mixed men's and women's tug-of-war event belonged to Lao Cai General Hospital No. 3.
In the pickleball and 200m running events, Chan Thinh Agricultural, Forestry and Food Processing Cooperative, Lao Cai General Hospital No. 3 and Van Chan Regional Medical Center are units that have achieved many outstanding achievements.







According to the Organizing Committee, the sports tournament is a practical activity towards the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, while creating a healthy playground, strengthening exchanges and connections between agencies, units and grassroots trade unions.
Thereby, continuing to spread the movement of physical training and sports, building a team of officials, union members, and workers with health and solidarity, contributing to successfully completing tasks at agencies, units and businesses.
