Accordingly, in order to continue to promote the innovation movement, promote intelligence, sense of responsibility and aspiration to contribute of workers, contributing to the successful implementation of production and business goals, digital transformation and sustainable development, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group and VNPT Trade Union (under Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union) issued Joint Directive No. 08/CTLT-VNPT-CDVNPT on organizing the "VNPT Innovation Award" in 2026 throughout the group.
The award is implemented based on regulations on managing initiative and innovation activities of the group and orienting key areas for initiative and innovation activities in 2026. This is an important activity to build a vibrant emulation environment, encouraging each official and employee to actively research and propose practical and effective initiatives that can be replicated and bring practical value to the unit as well as the entire group.
According to the VNPT Trade Union, with the theme "Small Initiatives - Great Efficiency - Creating a New Growth Space", the "VNPT Innovation Award" 2026 continues to affirm the view that innovation is not only a driving force for development but also the responsibility of each official and employee throughout the VNPT system.
This year's award focuses on three key content groups: Initiative groups to create revenue growth, aiming for solutions to improve mechanisms, policies, and business deployment methods to expand markets and improve sales efficiency; initiative groups to reduce costs, improve efficiency through optimizing processes, operating organization, using resources, infrastructure and human resources; initiative groups to enhance customer experience, focusing on system improvement solutions, improving experiences for customers, employees and partners throughout the group's operational chain.
Participants are all officials and employees working at member units of VNPT. The initiatives participating in the award will be selected from typical and outstanding initiatives that have been recognized by the group's initiative council every quarter.
The Award judging is carried out according to the principle of publicity and transparency based on two criteria including initiative scoring points and presentation points. In addition to honoring typical creative solutions, the award also aims to recognize the role of units in promoting the innovation movement. Units with many recognized group-level initiatives and solutions that achieve high prizes will be considered for collective ranking based on total accumulated points.
Through the "VNPT Innovation Award" 2026, the Corporation and VNPT Trade Union expect to continue to strongly spread the spirit of innovation and creativity throughout the system, arouse the desire to contribute, promote collective wisdom, create motivation to promote VNPT's rapid and sustainable development and affirm its pioneering position in the digital age.
