According to the VNPT Trade Union (under the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union), activities during Workers' Month and Action Month on OSH set out requirements to ensure quality, efficiency, practicality, innovation, and promote the responsibility of trade unions at all levels, employers and employees to improve the effectiveness of preventing work accidents, occupational diseases and improving working conditions. At the same time, strengthen coordination between trade unions and professional leaders in organizing activities to care for union members and employees.
With the theme of Workers' Month: "VNPT Union members and workers: Creativity - Safety - For the happiness of workers" and the Action Month on OSH: "Innovating management and improving the effectiveness of occupational safety and health in the digital age", the VNPT Trade Union will organize activities to care for union members and workers. Accordingly, organize visits to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, who have suffered labor accidents; organize signing cooperation agreements with partners on union member welfare programs, health care, preferential medical services for union members and workers; coordinate to organize seminars, health consultations, health check-ups and early disease screening for union members and workers; implement preferential programs for using medical services (medicine, vaccination...) for union members, workers and their families; organize the awarding of VNPT Warm Houses to union members and workers and kitchens and collective rooms for union members and workers.
In addition, the VNPT Trade Union also organizes training and fostering to improve professional qualifications and skills for trade union officials, union members and employees; summarizes and proposes rewards for collectives and individuals who have contributed and achieved in deploying professional learning for trade union officials on the E-learning system; organizes training and fostering to improve skills and nghiệp vụ on OSH, fire and explosion prevention...
