In the 2025-2030 term, the An Bien Ward Labor Union focused on 3 breakthroughs. One is to focus on training, fostering, and developing a team of union officials to meet the requirements in the new situation; increasing the application of information technology and digital transformation in union activities; improving the effectiveness of participating in supervising the implementation of legal policies related to workers and laborers; building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.
Two is to strongly develop union member welfare programs; improve the quality of "Union Shelter" activities, provide capital and emergency support; ensure that all union members and workers in difficulty have union support and companionship.
Third, focus on developing union members in the non-state sector and enterprises; improve the quality of grassroots union activities, especially in enterprises with a large number of workers.
Regarding the target by the end of the term, the Ward Union strives to develop 300 - 500 new union members, establish 7-10 new grassroots unions; complete 100% of the target of the city assigning enterprises with grassroots unions to organize negotiations and sign collective labor agreements. At least 2,500 union members and workers benefit from union welfare programs; 100% of full-time union officials are trained and updated with knowledge and skills annually; at least 80% of grassroots unions deploy digital transformation and apply digital technology in management of activities and communication.
At the congress, the City Labor Federation announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the An Bien Ward Trade Union, term 1, consisting of 10 comrades. Mr. Le Tran Tung Cuong will continue to hold the position of Chairman of the An Bien Ward Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
