700 million VND to give gifts to union members
News from An Hai Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on January 28 said: An Hai Ward Trade Union organizes the program "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" 2026 for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
At the program, An Hai Ward Trade Union presented gifts to union members in difficult circumstances including 491 gifts (worth 1 million VND each), 25 gifts (worth 1.3 million VND each); 800 shopping vouchers (each voucher worth 100 thousand VND) at booths in the "Trade Union Tet Market 2026" Program; 113 shopping vouchers, worth 500 thousand VND/voucher at the online Tet Market of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The total value of gifts distributed by the Da Nang City Labor Federation to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances of An Hai Ward Trade Union during this Lunar New Year is 700 million VND.
Also during this Tet holiday, An Hai Ward Trade Union deployed and had more than 200 union members and relatives participate in the "Trade Union Tet Journey" program including "Trade Union Bus" and "Trade Union Train".
Focus on Tet care
On this occasion, An Hai Ward Trade Union organized a conference to summarize trade union work in 2025 and deploy tasks for 2026.
In 2025, An Hai Ward Trade Union focused on effectively performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers; contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations.
Training and legal propaganda work is focused on with many classes on Trade Union Law, negotiating and signing collective labor agreements, implementing democracy at the grassroots level; maintaining regular legal advice for union members.
Activities to care for material and spiritual life are deployed promptly and practically through programs to support union members in difficult circumstances, children of union members, female workers and civil servants; support union members affected by natural disasters, deploy "Trade Union Tet Market", free medical examination and treatment and union member welfare programs.
Propaganda and launching of patriotic emulation movements, good labor, and technical innovation initiatives have been promoted; organizing well activities to celebrate major holidays, Party Congresses, Fronts and Trade Unions at all levels.
In parallel, the Ward Trade Union focuses on building strong organizations, developing union members, and establishing new grassroots trade unions; directing and successfully organizing the Ward Trade Union Congress and the 2025-2030 term grassroots Trade Union Congress. Financial work is carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring effective service for trade union activities.
In 2026, An Hai Ward Trade Union continues to focus on improving the quality of propaganda, thoroughly grasping and implementing the Resolution of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels, promoting activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, especially during the 2026 Lunar New Year and Workers' Month.
Improve the effectiveness of representation and protection of legitimate rights, focus on dialogue, negotiation, signing and implementation of collective labor agreements, improve shift meals, working conditions, and pay attention to female workers and vulnerable workers.
Continue to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions, improve the quality of trade union officials; promote patriotic emulation movements, apply digital transformation in trade union activities; proactively participate in building strong Party and government, strengthen inspection, supervision and effective trade union finance management.
