Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long has just signed Decision No. 166/QD-TTg on transferring the General Hospital of Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to the Ministry of Health for management. Reorganizing the General Hospital of Agriculture into facilities under Viet Duc Hospital.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with the Ministry of Health to transfer the General Hospital of Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to the Ministry of Health for management; direct and guide the General Hospital of Agriculture to fully compile the current status of the number of employees; finance, assets, headquarters, records, and documents serving the handover to the Ministry of Health in accordance with regulations.
The Ministry of Health will receive the original state of the General Hospital of Agriculture to the Ministry of Health for management according to regulations; coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Hanoi People's Committee, and the Hai Phong City People's Committee to implement the transfer of the number of employees, handover of finances, assets, headquarters, records, and documents of the General Hospital of Agriculture to the Ministry of Health for management, ensuring strictness so as not to cause loss, negativity, and waste of finances and assets in accordance with legal regulations.
The Ministry of Health reorganizes the General Hospital of Agriculture into facilities under Viet Duc Friendship Hospital in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring streamlining, effective and efficient operation, promoting the autonomy mechanism as required in Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW of the 6th Conference of the 12th Central Executive Committee on continuing to innovate the organizational and management system, improving the quality and efficiency of operations of public non-business units and legal regulations.
The General Hospital of Agriculture was established in 1967. From a small hospital built during the war, after nearly 60 years of development, today the General Hospital of Agriculture has developed strongly with spacious infrastructure, modern medical equipment, and a team of experienced doctors and nurses.
The hospital has achieved many great achievements in the cause of caring for and protecting people's health.
The General Hospital of Agriculture includes 03 facilities, including 2 facilities in Hanoi and 1 facility in Hai Phong.
