News from the Trade Union of Dien Ban Ward, Da Nang City on July 1st said: in order to raise legal awareness and promote occupational safety culture in the workplace, the Trade Union of Dien Ban Ward organized the launch of the model "Safe working environment - Union members and workers say no to drugs" and propagate laws on drug prevention and control.
The conference was held to implement Plan No. 170/KH-LDLD of the Da Nang City Labor Federation on the Project "Trade Unions promote building a safe labor culture in the workplace in the period 2025-2030"; Plan No. 20/KH-LDLD on Sub-project 4 "Improving the effectiveness of propaganda on drug prevention and control for workers in industrial parks" under Project 7, National Target Program on drug prevention and control to 2026; and at the same time respond to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2026.
At the program, Ms. Do Thi Luan - Chairwoman of Dien Ban Ward Trade Union approved the operating content of the model at the workplace. This activity aims to promote the role of the Trade Union organization in mobilizing and ensuring the rights of workers to work in safe, civilized conditions and without social evils.
In the presence of representatives of the City Labor Federation, Go Noi Commune Police and Ward Trade Union, representatives of grassroots trade unions based in Go Noi commune including: Da Nang Plastic Co., Ltd., Phong Son One Member Co., Ltd., Seo Nam Co., Ltd., Go Noi People's Credit Fund signed commitments to implement the model and determination to build a civilized and safe working environment.
In addition, representatives of the collective of workers also directly participated in signing commitments to respond to this model.
At the conference, delegates and workers listened to Mr. Phan Xuan Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the City Trade Union Affairs Committee directly guiding the implementation of occupational safety culture at the workplace.
The methodical and practical guidance contents have helped grassroots trade unions as well as workers understand the criteria and specific measures to build a safe production environment, maximizing the health and rights of workers in the new situation.
Within the framework of the program, Comrade Do Anh Vinh, Deputy Head of Go Noi Commune Police, propagated the basic contents of the law on drug prevention and control.
The propaganda session provided a lot of practical information about the current drug crime situation, new methods and tricks of criminals, and at the same time emphasized the role and responsibility of each agency, unit and individual worker in the work of fighting and proactively preventing social evils in the workplace.
