News from the Dien Ban Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on July 1st said: in order to practically promote activities to care for children of union members and workers, the Dien Ban Ward Trade Union has launched the program "Exchanging textbooks - Following in the footsteps of union members' children to school".
Immediately after launching, to date, the program has received strong response and spread in the community. Through reports from grassroots trade unions, more than 300 sets of textbooks have been actively exchanged by parents and students, helping to reuse books and spread the spirit of thrift.
Also on the occasion of the Action Month for Children, the Dien Ban Ward Trade Union presented 40 meaningful gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to students who are children of union members in difficult circumstances, striving to overcome difficulties and achieve good results in their studies.
In addition, 10 sets of old textbooks (supported by union members, ensuring quality) were directly awarded to students who need to be children of union members.
Each book given, each gift sent not only reduces part of the burden of expenses at the beginning of the school year for union member families, but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, adding motivation for children to firmly go to school and continue writing their dreams.
The program is a meaningful activity, clearly showing the practical companionship and care of the Dien Ban Ward Trade Union for future generations, and at the same time spreading the message of love and deep sharing in this year's Action Month for Children.
