Raising awareness of law compliance
On April 29, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Ward People's Committee to organize the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Attending the ceremony were Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong - Vice Chairwoman of the City Labor Federation; Ms. Cao Thi Huyen Tran - City Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Ward People's Council; Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, representatives of departments, branches, unions and a large number of union members and workers in the area.
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Qui Ha - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee launched a peak emulation period among workers, civil servants, and laborers, emphasizing the significance of Workers' Month associated with the Action Month on occupational safety and health.
The launching content focuses on honoring the values of workers, raising awareness of compliance with labor safety laws, improving working conditions, and better caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers.
At the same time, continue to promote patriotic emulation movements, especially the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement, contributing to improving productivity, quality and work efficiency.
Responding to the program, representatives of businesses in the area expressed their determination to accompany the government and trade union organization in caring for workers, building a safe, friendly and sustainable working environment.
47 gifts to support workers in difficult circumstances
At the ceremony, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union signed a coordination program and union member welfare program with 5 units and businesses in the presence of leaders of the City Labor Federation, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Chau Ward.
On this occasion, the Da Nang City Labor Federation awarded the Emulation Flag of Excellent Unit in the emulation movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and Trade Union activities to the Trade Union of Bao Viet Company.
Chairman of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the implementation of occupational safety and health in 2025.
Hai Chau Ward Trade Union has presented 47 gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND to encourage, share, and help union members and workers overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
The launching ceremony is a meaningful activity, opening a series of activities to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers in Workers' Month 2026.
At the same time, raising awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors, businesses and workers in ensuring labor safety and hygiene, towards building a safe, efficient and sustainable working environment.
