On August 29, Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City, said that the unit organized a Conference to announce the decision to establish 8 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS), launch the Executive Committee of CĐCS for the first term and admit 153 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2nd, and at the same time contribute to promoting the work of developing union members and establishing trade union organizations at businesses in the area.
At the conference, the Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union announced the decision to establish grassroots trade unions at 8 enterprises and units including: TMC Fruit Import-Export Trading Co., Ltd.; Bach Lam Construction Design Joint Stock Company; Phuc Vinh Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company Branch in Da Nang; Viet Da Software Co., Ltd.; K.A.L. H. U Co., Ltd.; DORY Foreign Language Center; TD Vietnam International Cooperation Import-Export and Consulting Co., Ltd. and Fumirai Co., Ltd. At the same time, the Executive Committee of the first term of grassroots trade unions was launched and 153 employees were admitted to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Phung Thi Ai Nhan - Chairwoman of Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union, congratulated the newly established grassroots trade unions and comrades who were trusted to participate in the Executive Committee; and emphasized the role of the Trade Union organization in enterprises in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
The Chairman of the Ward Trade Union proposed that the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions quickly develop working regulations, assign specific tasks to each member; proactively innovate the content and methods of operation, strongly focusing on union members and workers.
In which, focus on coordinating with employers to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers; pay attention to caring for material and spiritual life; effectively organize emulation movements such as "Good labor, high productivity, good income".
Grassroots trade unions need to promote the role of a bridge between workers and employers, actively participate in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations; accompany businesses to remove difficulties, improve labor productivity, build a stable working environment, contributing to the sustainable development of businesses and localities.
The establishment of 8 grassroots trade unions and the admission of 153 union members is a practical result, creating a foundation for Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union to continue to expand the gathering of workers, improve the effectiveness of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
