News from Hai Chau Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on August 29 said: The Ward Trade Union announced the decision to establish grassroots trade unions at 5 enterprises in the area including: Nam Anh Trading Co., Ltd., Hang Tin Vietnam Co., Ltd., Thanh Hoang Chau One Member Co., Ltd., Labcorp International Investment JSC, Unisoft JSC.
At the ceremonies, the Hai Chau Ward Trade Union announced the decision to establish a grassroots trade union, appoint the Executive Committee and admit 196 workers to the Trade Union organization.
Speaking at the programs, representatives of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union congratulated businesses with Trade Union organizations and newly admitted union members; and affirmed that the establishment of grassroots trade unions is an important milestone, creating conditions for workers to have organizations to represent, accompany, care for and protect their legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
The Ward Trade Union proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union soon stabilize the organization, develop operating regulations, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; proactively coordinate with employers to build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.
Along with that, the Trade Union organization needs to focus on propaganda and mobilization of workers to join the Trade Union, promoting the role of union members in building sustainable businesses.
The establishment of 5 more grassroots trade unions and the admission of 196 union members continue to affirm the concern of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union in the work of developing union members and establishing trade union organizations in the business sector.
