Creating a living environment for female workers
To practically celebrate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2026), on March 7, at AWA Coffee (No. 66 Nguyen Sinh Sac, Hoa Khanh, Da Nang), Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union organized the launching ceremony of the Mass Women's Committee and a thematic seminar on nutrition.

Attending and directing the program was Ms. Duong Thi My Vinh - Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Khanh Ward, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Hoa Khanh Ward.
On the Trade Union's side, there were Mr. Tra Thanh Quang - Chairman of Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union, along with members of the Ward Trade Union's Women's Committee and a large number of trade union officials from grassroots trade unions and affiliated grassroots trade unions.
Opening the program, delegates together reviewed the glorious history of International Women's Day March 8th and the good traditions of Vietnamese women.
In order to consolidate the organizational structure and create a living environment, protect the legitimate rights of female workers, the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union officially announced the decision to establish and launch the Mass Women's Union.
At the ceremony, Mr. Tra Thanh Quang - Chairman of Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union - directly spoke to direct and assign tasks to the Women's Committee.
Mr. Tra Thanh Quang emphasized that the Women's Committee needs to promote its pioneering role, proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of women.
At the same time, organize good emulation movements, becoming a solid support to care for the material and spiritual life of female union members and workers in the locality.
From family kitchens to industrial shift meals
Immediately after the launching ceremony of the Mass Women's Committee, Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union organized a seminar with the theme: "Sightly Nutrition - Delicious Meals: From Family Kitchen to Industrial Midday Meals", led by guest expert, Specialist Pharmacist I Dang Thi Phuong Thao.
The seminar brought extremely practical knowledge and skills, closely following the reality of life and work of trade union officials.
At the family kitchen space: Specialist Pharmacist I Dang Thi Phuong Thao shared important skills such as how to choose safe, fresh food, and proper processing methods to retain all micronutrients.
In particular, experts also point out and guide how to overcome common mistakes in the cooking process that women often make.
For industrial lunch meals: This is a key content specifically for trade union officials. Experts not only analyze nutrition but also equip delegates with skills to evaluate the quality of lunch meals at work.
At the same time, providing basic knowledge to lay the foundation for negotiation skills with employers, thereby gradually improving and enhancing the quality of shift meals, ensuring health and regenerating labor for employees.
The program closed in an atmosphere of open and warm exchange. The delegates attending actively discussed, asked questions and were answered wholeheartedly by experts.
The launch event of the Mass Women's Committee and the organization of this thematic seminar further affirms the role of accompanying and practically caring for union members of the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union.
