News from the Trade Union of Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang City on January 2nd said: The Trade Union of Ngu Hanh Son Ward organized the announcement of the decisions of the Da Nang City Labor Federation on the establishment of grassroots trade unions, appointing the Executive Committee and positions in the Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions under enterprises in the ward.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Dang Van Ky - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngu Hanh Son ward.
At the ceremony, the Trade Union of Ngu Hanh Son ward announced the establishment of 5 grassroots trade unions under companies, including: Turin - Italy Co., Ltd.; Tuan Minh Van Co., Ltd.; Duy Tan Limousine Co., Ltd.; Anh Anh My Trading and Service Co., Ltd.; Dien Bien Provincial Construction Private Enterprise Branch No. 1 - Muong Thanh Song Han Hotel. At the same time, appointing the Executive Committee of each grassroots trade union including 3 members, appointing the positions of Chairman and Member of the Executive Committee.
On this occasion, the Trade Union of Ngu Hanh Son ward propagated the Trade Union Law to union members and employees of enterprises; provided information on some rights and obligations of union members when participating in the trade union organization; and provided support of 5 million VND in medical examination and treatment costs for union members in difficult circumstances with serious illnesses.
It is known that from July 1, 2025 to now, Ngu Hanh Son Ward Trade Union has established 19 new grassroots trade unions. This is the unit that has established the most new grassroots trade unions among the ward and commune trade unions of Da Nang city as of this time.
Currently, the Trade Union of Ngu Hanh Son Ward is assigned to manage 121 grassroots Trade Unions. Including 7 grassroots Trade Unions in the non-business sector; 8 grassroots Trade Unions in the private school sector; 5 Trade Unions; 101 grassroots Trade Unions in the business sector, with a total of 7,716 union members/8,207 civil servants and laborers.
