News from the Dien Ban Dong Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City on December 23 said: at Vinh Duc General Hospital (Dien Ban Dong Ward), the Fund for Supporting Poor Workers, Civil Servants, and Laborers of the Da Nang City Labor Federation in coordination with the Dien Ban Dong Ward Trade Union organized the disbursement of capital to support workers in difficult circumstances in the area.
In this period, 40 union members of the Vinh Duc General Hospital Trade Union and 7 union members of Phan Chau Trinh University Trade Union were allocated VND1 billion 410 million.
The Fund for Supporting Poor Workers, Civil Servants, and Laborers of the Da Nang City Labor Federation is a policy of profound humanitarian significance, clearly demonstrating the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for the lives of union members and workers.
The fund was established to support preferential loans for workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances and with low incomes, helping them stabilize their lives, develop their family economy, and gradually escape poverty sustainably.
With the motto of non-profit operation, simple loan procedures, low interest rates, the Capital Support Fund has become a reliable support for many union members when facing sudden difficulties such as illness, accidents, natural disasters, or having a need to invest in small areas for production, business, trading, livestock farming, and services.
Through the implementation of the Fund, the Da Nang City Labor Federation not only contributes to improving the material and spiritual life of workers but also actively prevents and repels the situation of illegal credit loans, protects the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members.
