Accordingly, the Tan Son Hoa Ward Trade Union has implemented Action Program No. 13 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and Resolution No. 02 of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee on improving the effectiveness of crime prevention and control and drug evils, towards the goal of Ho Chi Minh City being free of drugs by 2030. At the same time, concretizing Resolution No. 09-NQ/DU of the Ward Party Committee closely to the actual situation in the locality.

Warning about the current crime situation, Major Vu Dinh Thinh - Officer of Team 1, Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that the subjects are using increasingly sophisticated tricks. Drugs are disguised in many new forms and take full advantage of cyberspace, potentially entering workers' boarding houses. The reporter directly instructed union members to install and use the anonymous crime reporting feature on the VNeID application, and at the same time requested grassroots trade unions to strengthen coordination with business owners and boarding house owners to ensure security and order.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Huynh Dong Luan - Chairman of Tan Son Hoa Ward Trade Union affirmed the determination of the trade union organization to accompany the locality in implementing the goal of a drug-free ward. Each official and union member must be a role model in complying with the law, committing not to possess, trade or assist criminals and must become an active propagandist in the community.
To realize this goal, grassroots trade unions will link drug prevention and control work to emulation movements, especially the movement "Good labor, creative labor". In parallel with continuing to care for the material and spiritual life of workers, trade union organizations will closely follow grassroots levels, proactively grasp thoughts and aspirations to coordinate in preventing early and remotely all risks of drugs entering the labor environment.
