HCMC - The HCMC Trade Union said it will implement policies to support workers in the case of Panko Vina Co., Ltd. stopping operations.

On December 24, speaking with reporters, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that he had grasped information about Panko Vina Company Limited (My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park, Ben Cat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) issuing a notice to terminate production and business activities.

The Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union and the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones have contacted to discuss with Panko Vina Company Limited. However, the company's leaders are currently working in Quang Nam, so they cannot work directly.

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has directed units to grasp the living conditions of workers in enterprises.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat added that the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union is implementing a plan to organize activities to care for the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year for union members and workers. Workers in difficult circumstances will be supported with 1 million VND per case. In addition, support bus and train tickets for workers to return home for Tet. In which, there is an allocation to support workers at Panko Vina Co., Ltd. In case the company stops operating before the Lunar New Year 2026, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union will still take care of the company's disadvantaged workers.

The representative of the Management Board of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City also said that they have preliminarily grasped the above enterprise information. Currently, labor relations in this enterprise are stable, there is no information that the Company owes wages or social insurance. The Management Board of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City will coordinate with relevant units to have a meeting and work directly to listen to businesses. At the same time, it protects the rights of employees when the company stops operating.
