Currently, grassroots trade unions are managed and guided by Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation on trade union activities, because the Tra Tan Commune Trade Union Cluster has not been established.
With the characteristics of enclosed livestock farming and production, workers working in livestock farming areas must be quarantined for many days according to regulations to prevent pathogens from spreading to livestock from the outside. This requires grassroots trade unions to pay special attention to the lives, health and working environment of union members.
Mr. Pham Hung Chuong - Vice Chairman of the Tafa Viet Company's Trade Union - said that the grassroots trade union coordinates with enterprises to ensure occupational safety and hygiene, and provide full labor protection for employees.
Along with that, the union maintains many activities to care for union members, give gifts to union members' children, organize football and art tournaments to create a cohesive working environment between production groups.
The grassroots union also actively participates in volunteer activities, maintains cooking and distributes 150 free meals per month to patients at Nam Binh Thuan General Hospital.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - and the working delegation visited the chicken egg packaging factory to visit union members and workers.
Here, Mr. Hoang highly appreciated the efforts to care for workers at special livestock enterprises such as Tafa Viet. He suggested that the grassroots union launch an emulation movement, promptly commend outstanding union members in production.
On November 19, the Trade Union of Tafa Viet Company held the 2nd Congress, term 2025 - 2030, approving the key tasks and electing a new Executive Committee.
