On the afternoon of October 24, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that Truong Vinh Ward Labor Union had visited and encouraged a union member of Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital who was seriously injured while on duty.
Previously, at around 10:00 a.m. on October 23, in room 304, Neonatal Department - Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, Bang Van Vy (born in 1996, from Bac Ninh, residing in Que Phong commune, Nghe An) suddenly used a fruit knife to attack many people in the room, injuring 7 people.
It is known that Vy's wife is L.T.K. (born in 1999) just gave birth to twins on October 17. While taking care of his wife and children, the subject showed unusual signs and suddenly attacked them.
Immediately after the incident, the hospital security force and Truong Vinh Ward Police quickly controlled and arrested the suspect and handed him over to Nghe An Provincial Police for further investigation and clarification.
