The Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) Trade Union has just successfully organized a workshop on "Stinguishing ideas for a happy university" with the participation of 86 union members who are civil servants and employees.
The workshop was led by reporter Master Truong Thu Ha, who has a lot of experience in the field of innovation, with the support of experienced internal coaches.
Dr. Phan Thi Bao Quyen - Vice President of theUEH Trade Union - emphasized: Building an academic and cultural environment for EUH towards happy university models is an important strategic orientation of EUH. The union wishes to accompany the school in spreading this value through specific activities, so that each civil servant and employee has the opportunity to contribute to the initiative.
The union members experienced the latest design thinking model of d.school, University of Stanford (applied from May 2024) with 3 stages: Noticing - sense making - Experimenting. The exciting group discussion activities have helped inspire and form many creative ideas on building a happy, fair and integrated working and learning environment.
At the end of the program, the members re- contemplated the journey through the 3H model: Heart (emotion), Head (knowledge), Hands ( action). The workshop not only provides knowledge but also inspires union members to prepare for the "HappyUEH Challenge" Contest - where ideas will be realized into specific solutions.
This is the launching event for the series of activities "Enhancing creative culture for a happy university" towards the 50th anniversary of UEH's founding (1976 - 2026), while realizing the strategic vision of buildingUEH into a happy, creative and sustainable university in the period of 2025 - 2030.
At the same time, it affirms the role of the UEH Trade Union in accompanying, arousing and promoting internal initiatives, building a positive, humane and effective working environment.
