Recently, in Huu Lung commune, the Lang Son Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a Congress to establish the grassroots trade union of Vietnam Star Technology Company Limited.
Vietnam Star Technology Co., Ltd. was established in February 2025, headquartered in Goc Me village, Huu Lung commune.
The enterprise operates in the field of incense candle production, currently has 70 employees working in 12 departments such as office, security, warehouse, candle repair, candle pouring, printing, etc.
According to the wishes of the company and employees, based on the Trade Union Law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Provincial Federation of Labor has guided and supported the establishment of a Mobilization Committee, developed a plan to propagate and mobilize employees to join the trade union.
From September 12 to September 17, the Mobilization Committee organized many propaganda sessions to help workers understand the role and responsibility of the trade union organization as well as the rights and obligations of union members. As a result, 56/70 workers have written applications to join, reaching a rate of 80%.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union consisting of 5 comrades, and at the same time elected the Chairman of the grassroots trade union.
This is the 3rd grassroots trade union established in the province since July 1, 2025, when the provincial trade union will operate under the new organizational model. To date, nearly 200 union members have joined the union organization.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions in non-state enterprises is considered to be of great significance, contributing to the effective implementation of the key theme of 2025 of trade unions at all levels "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party".
