On September 6, the grassroots Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tan Trieu ward, Dong Nai city) just organized the 50th "Kindness Hand" program, giving support to 18 union members and workers who are seriously ill and in particularly difficult circumstances.
Accordingly, representatives of the Standing Committee of the company's grassroots Trade Union directly visited, encouraged and presented support money of 41,880,000 VND/case to workers and employees who are being treated for illness or facing difficulties in life.
The "Kindness Hands" program was launched and organized by the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. in 2009, with funding mobilized from the collective of workers.
To date, the "Kindness Hands" program has supported about 500 union members and workers suffering from critical illnesses, with treatment costs of about 20 billion VND. On average, each worker suffering from critical illnesses receives about 40 million VND/case.
The "Kindness Hands" program is one of the meaningful activities maintained by the grassroots Trade Union for many years, contributing to timely support for workers when encountering risks and illnesses, helping them have more motivation to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and continue to feel secure in their work.
Mr. Dang Tuan Tu - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that the "Kindness Hand" program originated from sympathy for workers facing difficulties with illness, from which the trade union built this program to share the burden for workers in the treatment process.
Although the amount is not large, it is the heart of all employees in the company sharing with each other, because we are people in one family together" - Mr. Tu shared.
