According to a report by the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), from August 31 to September 5, grassroots trade unions in the area organized many practical cultural, artistic, and sports activities.
At Ty Bach Co., Ltd., the grassroots trade union organized a summary and awarded prizes for the Workers' Singing Contest and a program to give gifts to children of union members who are wounded soldiers and union members who are children of wounded soldiers and martyrs with a total budget of nearly 100 million VND.
Cultural and artistic activities not only create a playground for workers but also contribute to uniting union members and building a united working environment. This is also an opportunity for workers to exchange and show their talents after working time.
The grassroots trade union of Dong Hai Ben Tre Joint Stock Company organized the opening ceremony of the Dohaco Singing Contest - Sports Festival 2026. The activities created a vibrant atmosphere, contributing to improving spiritual life and promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports among workers.
Meanwhile, the grassroots Trade Union of Asia Coconut Co., Ltd. organized a mini football tournament to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the group's establishment, the successful August Revolution and National Day 2/9.
In addition to cultural, artistic and sports activities, the grassroots Trade Union of Luong Quoi Coconut Processing Co., Ltd. organized the 2026 Trade Union Meal, with a total budget of more than 163.9 million VND, contributing to caring for life and strengthening the connection between businesses and workers.
During the September 2nd National Day holiday, through grasping the situation from grassroots trade unions, Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation recorded 90 businesses implementing bonuses for workers, with a total amount of more than 33 billion VND. Businesses also arranged holidays according to regulations.
According to the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, the whole province currently has 7 commune and ward trade unions; 662 grassroots trade unions, grassroots professional unions with 178,523 union members out of a total of 185,848 workers.
