In the first six months of 2026, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation will implement many activities to care for union members and workers; promote union member development, establish grassroots trade unions and improve the effectiveness of representing and protecting workers' rights.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - said that the employment situation, income and living standards of workers in the area are basically stable, and most businesses fully implement salary and bonus regimes and welfare policies.
According to Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh, trade union levels proactively coordinate with businesses to take care of the material and spiritual life of union members; regularly grasp thoughts and aspirations, strengthen dialogue, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

Many key targets achieved positive results. To date, 86% of enterprises with trade union organizations have signed collective labor agreements; 89% of enterprises implement grassroots democracy regulations; 8/12 enterprises have adjusted to increase the value of lunch meals for employees.

The highlight in care work is a series of programs being implemented with a total budget of about 6 billion VND.
