In the first 6 months of 2026, the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers (CNVCLĐ) and trade union activities throughout Gia Lai province achieved many outstanding results.
The work of caring for union members and workers (ĐV, NLĐ) has been implemented practically and effectively, with 2,616 beneficiaries, total budget of nearly 3 billion VND. 73 enterprises adjusted to increase the value of lunch meals, raising the total number of enterprises organizing lunch meals for workers to 331 units.

Legal advice and support activities have been effective. The Trade Union Legal Consulting Center has consulted on 128 cases, directly supported 24 employees in complaints and lawsuits, thereby protecting their rights and helping employees recover more than 172 million VND of salary and benefits owed or paid improperly.
The Provincial Trade Union has newly established 59 grassroots Trade Unions (CĐCS), admitted 6,757 members, dissolved 162 CĐCS that do not meet operating conditions, raising the total number to 891 CĐCS with 79,388 members.
To date, 19/19 Commune and Ward Trade Unions have been established according to the Project approved by the Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, 441 outstanding UN members have been introduced to the Party for consideration, of which 152 people have been admitted.
The Provincial Trade Union has launched the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" for the 2026-2031 period, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere among workers and employees. The work of caring for life and stabilizing labor relations continues to be effectively implemented, contributing to increasing income and improving welfare for workers.

According to Standing Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, in the first 6 months of the year, the work of caring for the material and spiritual life of workers was deployed synchronously; promptly stabilizing the ideology of union members when labor relations incidents arise at the grassroots level.
Commune and ward trade unions closely follow targets and key tasks, have many innovations in operating methods, and strongly focus on grassroots levels. The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions has achieved positive results; trade union finances are managed closely and transparently...
Besides the achieved results, Ms. Thuy also frankly acknowledged some limitations such as the work of grasping the situation at non-state sector enterprises not being really thorough; the capacity and skills of a part of grassroots trade union officials are still limited, not meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation...
In the last 6 months of the year, Ms. Thuy said that the Provincial Trade Union will continue to participate in building, deploying, supervising, and inspecting the implementation of policies and laws related to employees, especially policies on salaries, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance. Establish a delegation to supervise the compliance with labor laws at non-state sector enterprises.
Continue to promote negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements, improve quality and quantity with many clauses that are more beneficial to workers. Strengthen consulting and legal support for union members and workers; strive for 100% of cases of union members resolving labor disputes at the Court to have Trade Union representatives participate and support.
The Provincial Trade Union continues to implement welfare programs, effectively manage loan capital to create jobs and increase income for workers; visit and support union members and workers in difficult circumstances...
The Executive Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation has approved the preliminary report on the inspection and supervision work of Trade Unions at all levels in the first 6 months of the year, tasks for the last 6 months of the year; financial estimates of the Provincial Labor Federation in 2026; summary of Workers' Month; along with draft plans to implement the Project "Trade Unions promote building labor safety culture in the period 2025-2030" and the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" in the period 2026-2031.
At the same time, awarding Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation to 28 collectives with outstanding achievements in the Workers' Month activities in 2026.
