According to a report from the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LDLD), from January 19 to January 25, the activities of the Trade Union organization in the province were actively deployed, focusing on the grassroots level, taking union members and workers as the center of service.
During the week, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation participated in many important activities, including the programs "Tet Sum vay - Spring Sharing", "Tet Sum vay - Spring Gratitude to the Party" and conferences related to Trade Union organizations, businesses and workers.
Notably, the Provincial Labor Federation organized delegations to visit businesses, union members, and workers at 17 companies in Vinh Long, Tra Vinh and Ben Tre provinces. Through this, the Trade Union both showed its role in accompanying businesses and promptly grasped the thoughts and aspirations of workers to coordinate in removing difficulties. On this occasion, 360 gifts were handed directly to workers in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a conference to propagate, study, and thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030 in three areas. The content focused on key tasks, action programs and solutions to care for Tet for union members and workers.
Democracy work at the grassroots level continues to be directed to be seriously implemented through the organization of conferences of officials, civil servants, public employees, employee conferences, dialogues at the workplace and negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements. Grassroots trade unions also coordinate to develop salary, bonus, and Tet holiday plans for workers.
In particular, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation focuses resources on taking care of the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year with a total budget of more than 6.27 billion VND through many forms of direct support, contributing to helping union members and workers feel secure in welcoming Tet, long-term attachment to businesses and trade union organizations.
