On January 21, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with departments and agencies to organize a working delegation to visit, wish Tet and give gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances at many businesses.
According to the plan, the delegation visited Unisoll Vina Co., Ltd. and Alliance One Garment Co., Ltd. in Giao Long Industrial Park; JY VINA One Member Co., Ltd. and Ty Thanh Co., Ltd. in turn.
At the enterprises, the delegation was informed by unit leaders of the production and business situation in the past year. Despite facing difficulties due to market fluctuations, the enterprises still maintained production, ensured jobs, paid salaries, bonuses and regimes to employees.
At the same time, grassroots trade union organizations pay attention to caring for the lives of union members and workers through cultural, artistic, and sports activities during holidays and Tet; promptly visit and support workers in difficult circumstances, and build "Trade Union Homes".
On this occasion, the Provincial Trade Union symbolically presented 80/467 gifts to workers and employees in difficult circumstances at companies, contributing to sharing and encouraging spirit, helping workers feel warmer, feel secure in working, and stick with the business.

Speaking at businesses, Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi - Standing Vice President of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - acknowledged the efforts of businesses in maintaining production, ensuring rights and income for workers.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation highly appreciated the role of grassroots trade unions in caring for the lives of union members, especially workers in difficult circumstances, and emphasized the necessity of continuing to closely coordinate between the Trade Union and businesses.
Trade unions at all levels will continue to accompany businesses, take better care of the material and spiritual life of union members, so that workers can feel secure in working and stick together for a long time," Ms. Chi added.
