Responding to Workers' Month 2026, Vinh Long Trade Union levels focus on organizing dialogues between workers and business leaders and authorities at all levels.
According to the plan of the Provincial Labor Federation, the "May Dialogue" program is being implemented synchronously, in accordance with the actual conditions of each unit. Trade union levels proactively advise and coordinate for heads of Party committees, authorities and employers to directly meet and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation said that strengthening dialogue not only helps to promptly resolve arising issues, but also enhances the role of Trade Unions in participating in management, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
Along with that, the Forum "Union members contribute ideas to build Vietnam Trade Unions in the new era" was organized to become a widespread political activity. The activity aims to promote democracy, the central role of union members, and gather opinions to contribute to completing documents, charters and trade union organization models in the new period.
The highlight of the program is the meeting, contact, and dialogue between provincial leaders and union members and workers, expected to be held in May. This is an opportunity for workers to directly express their recommendations, helping local leaders promptly adjust policies to suit reality.
The "May Dialogue" program was chosen to be a pilot organization at the grassroots trade union of Mega Surplus Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., creating a model for replication. Through this, the grassroots trade union promotes its role as a representative, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights of employees in the enterprise.
Mr. Truong Hoang Huynh - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Mega Surplus Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. said that dialogue activities create conditions for workers to boldly express their opinions, contributing to improving the working environment, improving production efficiency and business cohesion.
