In the first quarter of 2026, the ideological situation and life of union members and workers in Bau Bang commune were basically stable; labor relations were harmonious, and there were no strikes. The work of taking care of union members' lives was deployed synchronously, especially during the Lunar New Year. The total value of care for workers in the area reached over 12 billion VND.
Many practical activities were organized such as supporting money, gifts, bus tickets, train tickets, and air tickets for workers to return to their hometowns for Tet. Businesses have also spent about 92 billion VND in bonuses for nearly 25,000 workers, contributing to encouraging workers to feel secure in production.

Emulation movements and cultural and social activities are organized enthusiastically such as the "Tet reunion", "Loving Pho" programs, and excellent female workers contests... contributing to improving the spiritual life of workers. Trade union organization building work continues to be consolidated, and in the quarter, 2 new grassroots trade unions have been established, and 147 more union members have been admitted.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and contributing many opinions to improve the effectiveness of trade union activities; the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations and occupational safety and health; coordination in performing tasks of inspection, supervision, finance, and trade union accounting. At the same time, they listened to directing speeches from local leaders and the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.
In the second quarter of 2026, Bau Bang Commune Trade Union determined to continue to promote care and protection of workers' rights; develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions; effectively organize Workers' Month and practical activities, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
