On April 14, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology (CĐKHCNVN) said that in order to continue to improve the capacity and operational efficiency of trade union officials at all levels, CĐKHCNVN has just had a working session with VNPT Trade Union on surveying the needs for training and coaching for union members and workers in 2026.
According to the VNPT Trade Union, training and fostering for trade union officials at all levels and union members and employees is always concerned and focused on by the VNPT Trade Union. From 2025, the VNPT Trade Union has implemented an online training and fostering program on artificial intelligence and virtual assistant skills according to the program of the Vietnam Science and Technology Union to 100% of union members and employees of units.
In addition, the VNPT Trade Union also proactively organizes training classes for trade union officials on skills in using AI in work; sends 100% of full-time officials to participate in direct training classes on AI organized by the Vietnam Science and Technology Union, the Group's Party Committee and VNPT Group...
At the beginning of 2026, VNPT Trade Union will coordinate with the Human Resource Development Center to organize online training classes on the e-learning system on 4 professional skills for trade union officials: Organization and operation of grassroots trade unions; Professional skills and operation of trade union officials; Trade unions participating in implementing grassroots democracy regulations; Activities of the grassroots trade union inspection committee.
100% of trade union officials from the group level with more than 4,500 trade union officials participating in studying achieved good results and were granted certificates of completion of the course with an average score of 7-7 points/ten point scale.
In the coming time, VNPT Trade Union proposes that CĐKHCNVN organize focused training, online training forms of e-learning lectures in the form of micro-learning, time of less than 5 minutes/content and compatibility with mobile devices for workers to be convenient and easy to learn. Building a digital learning resource for union members and workers with some main contents such as internal communication skills training; training on occupational safety and health, fire and explosion prevention to reduce labor accidents...
