News from the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune, Da Nang city on February 10th said: As part of the series of activities "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune in coordination with the Phu Ninh Regional Health Center organized a program of free health check-ups and consultations for workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in the area, contributing to taking care of union members' health before the New Year.
At the program, nearly 100 workers and laborers working at businesses and production facilities in the commune were given general health check-ups, blood pressure measurements, advice on common diseases by the team of doctors and physicians of Phu Ninh Regional Health Center, and also performed thyroid ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound to detect early abnormal signs.
Through examination, doctors and nurses also guide workers on reasonable nutrition, how to prevent occupational diseases and maintain a healthy lifestyle, and improve physical health.
On this occasion, the Chien Dan Commune Trade Union presented 13 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. These gifts, although not large, show the timely concern and sharing of the trade union organization, helping workers have more joy and motivation to celebrate Tet.
Free medical examination and health consultation activities are of practical significance, contributing to caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers. Thereby, continuing to affirm the role of trade union organizations in accompanying and supporting workers, especially during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.
