News from Dai Loc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on May 12 said: The Commune Trade Union coordinated with the Commune People's Committee to organize the launching ceremony of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Workers' Month in 2026.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, the Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, along with leaders of agencies, departments, branches, unions, businesses, grassroots trade unions and a large number of union members and workers in the area.
With the theme "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health in the digital age", Action Month 2026 aims to raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors, businesses and workers in ensuring occupational safety, preventing occupational accidents and diseases.
Speaking at the ceremony, commune leaders requested agencies, units, and businesses to continue to pay attention to improving working conditions, building a safe and friendly working environment; strengthening the application of digital technology in management and supervision of occupational safety and hygiene to minimize labor accidents and occupational diseases.
At the program, representatives of businesses and trade union members spoke in response, and signed commitments to strictly implement regulations on occupational safety and health, contributing to building a safety culture in the workplace.
On this occasion, Dai Loc Commune Trade Union presented 38 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a value of 500,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND/gift, promptly encouraging union members to overcome difficulties and feel secure in working and production.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the forces organized mobile propaganda on roads in the commune to raise community awareness about occupational safety and health, contributing to building a safe, civilized and sustainable working environment.
