The fire at the material storage warehouse occurred at about 7:30 am on May 12 on DH 516 road, near Xa Mach bridge, Ben Lon hamlet, Bau Bang commune, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initial information, at the above time, the material warehouse of a resident's house on DH 516 road suddenly caught fire. People used on-site vehicles to put out the fire but failed.
The fire was getting bigger and wider. The fire formed a column of black smoke rising tens of meters high, still visible from afar. The incident was later reported to functional agencies.
Upon receiving the news, Bau Bang Commune Police immediately sent forces to the scene to coordinate in controlling the fire.
Fire and Rescue Police have dispatched 3 specialized fire trucks to the scene to extinguish the fire. By 8:30 am on the same day, the fire was controlled. Functional forces are completely extinguishing the fire.
At the scene, the corrugated iron roof of the house collapsed, and many assets and materials inside were burned.
Leaders of Bau Bang Commune People's Committee said that the fire occurred at a material warehouse of a resident's house. The fire did not cause any casualties. Currently, units are clarifying the damage and cause of the fire.
