Benefits of workers when joining the Trade Union
On May 11, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang City worked with Nhon Nghia General Transport Service Co., Ltd. to exchange, propagate, and mobilize union member development and establish grassroots trade unions at enterprises.
Nhon Nghia General Transport Service Co., Ltd. was established at the beginning of 2018, operating in the field of services and transportation; currently has over 19 employees working regularly, with an average income of over 10 million VND/person/month.
This is a business with a stable number of employees, qualified to mobilize the establishment of a Trade Union organization according to regulations.
At the working session, Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Phuoc commune, Chairwoman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union exchanged views on the position, role, and functions of the Vietnam Trade Union organization; rights and interests of workers when participating in the Trade Union organization; the meaning of establishing grassroots trade unions in enterprises.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions at Nhon Nghia General Transport Service Co., Ltd. is of practical significance in Workers' Month 2026, contributing to the development of union members and expanding trade union organizations in non-state-owned enterprises.
At the same time, creating conditions for employees to have representative organizations, to be cared for and protected for their legitimate and lawful rights and interests, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
Bringing Trade Unions closer to workers
At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Nghia - Director of Nhon Nghia General Transport Service Co., Ltd. agreed on the policy of mobilizing workers to participate in the Trade Union organization.
Mr. Nguyen Nghia assigned Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Thoa - a member of the Company's Board of Directors to coordinate with the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union in propagating and guiding workers to register to join the Trade Union and complete dossiers and procedures for establishing grassroots trade unions.
Based on the work results and the aspirations of workers to participate in the Trade Union organization, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union has guided businesses to complete dossiers and procedures to submit to the Da Nang City Labor Federation for consideration and promulgation of decisions to establish grassroots trade unions according to regulations.
It is expected that Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Thoa will be introduced to participate in the Provisional Executive Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Nhon Nghia General Transport Service Co., Ltd. after being decided and recognized by competent authorities.
The completion of the dossier for establishing grassroots trade unions at enterprises in Workers' Month 2026 is an initial result in propaganda and mobilization to develop union members and establish grassroots trade unions of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union.
Thereby, contributing to bringing the Trade Union organization closer to workers, accompanying businesses to care for the lives, jobs, and legitimate rights and interests of workers.
Ms. Lam Thi Vy said: this is one of the results of continuing to effectively implement the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union in Workers' Month 2026.
Since the beginning of the year, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union has developed over 900 union members, established 2 grassroots trade unions and is continuing to guide dossiers for establishing grassroots trade unions for 3 businesses in the area.
Thereby, contributing to bringing the Trade Union organization closer to workers, accompanying businesses to care for life, jobs, and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
Also according to Ms. Vy, in the coming time, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union will continue to promote surveys, propaganda, and mobilization to develop union members at enterprises and labor-using units in the area; guide the process, dossiers, and procedures for establishing grassroots trade unions to ensure compliance with regulations, contributing to the good implementation of the task of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in the new situation.
