According to the Decision, Gia Phuc Commune Trade Union was established, directly under the Hai Phong City Labor Federation. The Commune Trade Union has legal status, has its own seal and account, and operates according to the regulations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation issued decisions on personnel work. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Toan was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Chairman of Gia Phuc Commune Trade Union, term I, term 2026 - 2030.
In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa was transferred to work at Gia Phuc Commune Trade Union, holding the position of Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Commune Trade Union Inspection Committee.
The Executive Committee of Gia Phuc Commune Trade Union includes representatives of many grassroots trade unions in the area such as the Health Center, businesses and related units. At the same time, the Commune Trade Union Inspection Committee was also consolidated with members according to the list attached to the decision.
The Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation assigned grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions and union members directly under the Hai Phong City Labor Federation in the communes of Gia Phuc, Gia Loc, Yet Kieu, Dai Son, Tan Ky, Truong Tan to the Gia Phuc Commune Trade Union for monitoring and management, including 42 grassroots trade unions and 6,786 union members.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Standing Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation - emphasized that Gia Phuc Commune Trade Union has received the attention and facilitation of the Party Committee, government and the coordination of local departments and agencies.
He requested the Party Committee, government and mass organizations to continue to pay attention and support the Gia Phuc Commune Trade Union to soon stabilize its organization and improve operating conditions.
Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation expressed his belief that, with the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and high determination, Gia Phuc Commune Trade Union will quickly stabilize its organization, go into effective operation, become a solid support for union members and workers, and make positive contributions to the development of the locality and the city.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Toan - Chairman of Gia Phuc Commune Trade Union expressed his honor to be trusted with the important responsibility. He committed to working with the Executive Committee to strive to build a strong Trade Union organization, perform well the function of representing, caring for, accompanying and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Khanh Toan also wishes to continue to receive the attention, leadership, and facilitation of the City Labor Federation, Party committees, local authorities and the coordination of agencies and units for Gia Phuc Commune Trade Union to operate effectively and meet task requirements in the coming time.
