News from Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang City on May 30 said: Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union participates in the inter-sectoral inspection team of Nam Phuoc Commune People's Committee to inspect the implementation of labor laws and labor safety and hygiene at 4 units and enterprises in the commune including: Huy Hoang II Garment Co., Ltd., Tan Minh Textile and Garment Trading Co., Ltd. Branch - Anh Sang 7 Garment Enterprise, Central Mineral Construction Development Investment Joint Stock Company and Ong Vang Private Kindergarten.

The inspection activity takes place during the peak period of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, to assess the implementation of labor laws, occupational safety and health, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational safety and health training, fire prevention and fighting, health care and safety conditions at the workplace.
At the units, the inspection team listened to reports, inspected dossiers and related documents; and surveyed the reality in the production area, collective kitchens, medical cabinets, fire prevention and fighting systems, working areas and conditions serving workers.
Through inspection, the units basically paid attention to implementing legal regulations on labor and occupational safety and health; focusing on improving working conditions and taking care of workers' health.
The inspection team also exchanged and guided units to continue reviewing and completing legal documents, strengthen self-inspection, training, and reminding workers to comply with safety procedures, contributing to preventing labor accidents, occupational diseases and risks of unsafety at the workplace.
Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Chairwoman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union said: in her role as a member of the Inspection Team, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union focuses on exchanging with businesses and grassroots trade unions about contents under the functions of the Trade Union organization.
Specifically, promoting the representative role of grassroots trade unions in participating in building and contributing opinions on labor regulations and collective labor agreements; organizing periodic dialogues at workplaces; implementing grassroots democracy regulations; grasping the thoughts and recommendations of union members and workers related to employment, wages, bonuses, meals, welfare, working conditions, especially for female workers, heavy laborers and workers in difficult circumstances.
Defining the model "Labor Safety Culture in the Workplace
Also according to Ms. Lam Thi Vy, on this occasion, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union exchanged and oriented grassroots trade unions to continue to link occupational safety and health work with the "Labor Safety Culture in the Workplace" model.
In which, the Trade Union of Anh Sang 7 Garment Enterprise was selected as a pilot unit; focusing on propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers to raise awareness of complying with internal regulations and safety procedures, building a disciplined and responsible working style and proactively participating in dialogue, comments, and supervision activities at enterprises.

Notably, at Huy Hoang II Garment Co., Ltd. - a unit with more than 500 workers, mostly female workers, the enterprise has coordinated with the grassroots Trade Union to organize training classes on fire prevention and fighting, rescue and first aid in labor accidents at the workplace; arranged medical areas, first aid instructions, collective kitchens and conditions to serve workers' health care at 3 production workshops.
For Mien Trung Mineral Construction Development Investment Joint Stock Company - a unit that has not yet established a Trade Union organization but has well implemented the deduction and payment of 2% of trade union funds according to regulations, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union has exchanged, propagated, and guided businesses on the role and function of the Trade Union organization and regulations related to the establishment of grassroots trade unions.
Through exchanges, representatives of the Company's Board of Directors basically agreed on the policy of establishing grassroots trade unions in the coming time, in order to create conditions for employees to have representative organizations, to be cared for and protect their legitimate and lawful rights and interests; and at the same time contribute to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in the enterprise.
Through the inspection, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union continues to promote its role in coordinating with the government and functional sectors in supervising the implementation of policies and laws related to workers.
