Continuing to accompany 25 sponsored children
Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Chairwoman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang City said: On the occasion of the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union organized the presentation of 120 gifts to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in 3 communes; and continued to accompany 25 children who were sponsored through the "Wings of Dreams - For the Future of Children of Union Members and Workers" model.
The total resource for care at the program is 40 million VND.
The gifts were given before the Mid-Autumn Festival, adding joy to the children and sharing some of the difficulties with union members and workers' families.
This is also an opportunity for the Commune Trade Union to continue to connect care activities between the Commune Trade Union and affiliated grassroots trade unions, directing attention to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Along with the program of the Commune Trade Union, Mid-Autumn Festival activities are being widely deployed at grassroots Trade Unions (CĐCS).
Many units have proactively organized early Mid-Autumn Festival, such as the grassroots trade union of Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Materials Co., Ltd.; the grassroots trade union of Tam Tri Quang Nam General Hospital; the grassroots trade union of Dong Nhan General Clinic Co., Ltd.; the grassroots trade union of Nhon Nghia General Service - Transport Co., Ltd.; the grassroots trade union of Nam Hoi An Development Co., Ltd.... with activities such as giving gifts, Mid-Autumn Festival fun, giao lưu, games, and lion dances for children.
The remaining grassroots trade unions will be organized simultaneously this week, with forms suitable to the conditions of each unit.
Through activities implemented by the Commune Trade Union and the Grassroots Trade Union, over 2,000 gifts were given to children of union members and workers during this Mid-Autumn Festival, contributing to creating a joyful and warm atmosphere and spreading the concern of the Trade Union organization to union members and workers' families.
Caring not only for the Mid-Autumn Festival
According to Ms. Lam Thi Vy, the special point in the care activities of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union is the companionship with children after the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Through the model "Wings for Dreams - For the Future of Youth Union Members and Workers", Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union is currently sponsoring and accompanying 25 children in difficult circumstances, supporting them in their studies and lives.
In particular, on September 29th, a long-term support program for 6 students in difficult circumstances is expected to be implemented at Nam Hoi An Development Co., Ltd., with a total budget of 216 million VND for 3 school years, from 2026 to 2029.
This content continues to expand the practice of the Commune Trade Union from supporting on occasion to connecting resources to accompany union members and workers' children in the long term.
From 120 gifts given by the Commune Trade Union, more than 2,000 gifts deployed throughout the period at grassroots trade unions, to 25 children being sponsored and resources continuing to be devoted to studying, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival activities show the synchronous coordination between the Commune Trade Union and grassroots trade unions in care work.
Through this, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union aims to provide practical, targeted care and continuity: so that children have a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival, and at the same time provide more learning conditions for those who are still facing many difficulties" - Ms. Lam Thi Vy said.
