In Binh Duong, thousands of workers have returned to work at the Shyang Hung Cheng Co., Ltd. factory (Thuan An City) after the Lunar New Year holiday. Mr. Mai Thanh Tuyen - Chairman of the company's Trade Union - said that the company has about 7,300 workers and on February 3, 85% of the workers had returned to work after Tet.
At VSIP I Industrial Park (Thuan An City), many companies have resumed production, including Compass II Company Limited, with about 80% of employees returning to work. On the first day of work, employees received lucky money to encourage and motivate them.
Meanwhile, in industrial parks in Thu Dau Mot City, businesses have reopened and resumed production after the Tet holiday. Kim Xuong Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. (Dai Dang Industrial Park) has about 3,500 employees. In the morning, 2,651 workers returned to the factory to participate in production, reaching a rate of 75%.
Mr. Ly Van Ca - Chairman of the Trade Union of Kim Xuong Shoes Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, the company will give a bonus to employees who have worked for 12 months equal to 1 month's basic salary plus seniority and position. If it is not enough 12 months, it will be calculated based on the actual number of months worked. On the first working day of the new year, all employees will receive lucky money. The working atmosphere on the first day of the new year at the company is urgent and exciting.

According to records, this year's Tet, trade unions at all levels in Binh Duong have organized well activities to take care of union members and workers. Workers are supported to have a full Tet, helping them overcome difficulties, stay with the company, thereby helping businesses stabilize their labor resources after Tet.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, all employees with a working period of 1 year or more will receive 2 months of salary including basic salary and regular allowances. In addition to bonuses, the company agreed to increase the basic salary and some allowances by 4% from January 1, 2025.
On the occasion of Tet, each employee received a gift worth 300,000 VND from the Trade Union. In addition, the Trade Union also implemented many activities to support workers in difficult circumstances. On January 28 (29th of Tet), the Trade Union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a Tet gift giving program for union members who were far from home and stayed in Binh Duong to celebrate Tet on the occasion of the Spring of At Ty 2025. 200 union members and employees were each given a gift worth 800,000 VND (500,000 VND in cash and a gift basket of 300,000 VND). For workers who have not returned to their hometown for many years, the Trade Union and the company organized a car to take workers home for Tet.
Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet Nhung - Chairwoman of the company's Trade Union - said that this year, the Trade Union and the company organized 5 sleeper buses to take workers back to their hometowns and back to Binh Duong for free. The shuttle program has a total value of more than 500 million VND. "The bus departs to take workers back to their hometowns on the afternoon of January 25 (ie December 26). On the morning of February 3, the first bus departs from Hanoi at nearly 6am to Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa to take workers back to Binh Duong. The company will organize production after Tet from February 6 (the 9th day of Tet)" - Ms. Nhung shared.
Mr. Luu The Thuan - Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union of Binh Duong Province - said that the trade unions coordinated with enterprises to bring about 13,000 workers back to their hometowns and back to Binh Duong for free. In addition, the provincial labor union organized buses to pick up nearly 2,000 workers and gave away 1,450 train tickets and more than 100 plane tickets.
According to Mr. Luu The Thuan, this year, trade unions at all levels have spent more than 272 billion VND to take care of Tet. Along with other activities to protect workers, this has helped to harmonize labor relations in enterprises. Companies have stabilized labor to organize production after Tet.
