In Da Nang, many businesses with a large number of workers will return to work from tomorrow (February 3) to meet production orders from the beginning of 2025.
On February 2, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tho - President of the Union of Pi Vina Da Nang Company Limited - said that after the Tet holiday, the company will welcome workers back to work on February 3 (the 6th).
"On the first working day of the new year, the company's leaders and the union will welcome, encourage and give lucky money to all employees," Ms. Tho informed.
Pi Vina Da Nang Company Limited is a textile and garment enterprise located in Hoa Khanh Industrial Park (Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City), exporting goods mainly to the US market.
At Hoa Cam Industrial Park (Cam Le District), Da Nang City, many workers also said that they will work on February 3, the first day of the year.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Chien - a worker at Foster Electronics Company Limited in Da Nang - said: "Today, we are rearranging our dormitory to prepare for the first day of work. All workers and employees at the company are like that."
During the Lunar New Year 2025, many businesses in Da Nang still organize workers to work through Tet. Mr. Ngo Truong Nam - Deputy General Director of the Executive Board of Deo Ca Transport Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company - informed that the company has arranged workers to be on duty at construction sites of projects, completing the construction of key projects as required. In addition, the company will ensure the safety of workers working at construction sites during the Lunar New Year.
“During the Tet At Ty, the company has developed specific programs and plans to best care for the lives of workers and their families during the Tet holidays. We not only ensure Tet bonuses but also organize activities to visit, encourage and support workers’ families, demonstrating the company’s deep concern and sharing,” said Mr. Nam.
On the afternoon of February 2 (the 5th day of Tet), thousands of people from the northern and central provinces traveled by motorbike and car over Hai Van Pass to enter Da Nang city after the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday.
Most of them are students and workers from Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue City... They return to Da Nang city to study and work after returning home for Tet holiday.
