On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Da Nang City Labor Federation has organized many activities aimed at the grassroots level, ensuring that union members and workers are cared for and taken care of. This includes providing support to 20,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, having had work accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses or being affected by natural disasters, losing their jobs, having their working hours reduced... with a support level of no more than 1 million VND/person (700,000 VND in cash and 300,000 VND in kind).
The Da Nang City Labor Federation also organized the Tet Sum vay, Xuan on Dang and Tet Union Market 2025 programs with 40,000 free shopping vouchers for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each voucher worth 100,000 VND. In particular, the Union Buses brought thousands of union members and workers home to celebrate Tet safely and free of charge from January 20 to January 27, 2025.
According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang City, employment for workers has improved during this time. Some businesses are expanding their scale and receiving more orders.

On the occasion of the Spring Festival of At Ty 2025, businesses have organized to launch and work on the first day of the year. At Hoa Cam Industrial Park, Cam Le District, Da Nang City, many factories have started production on the first day of the year.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Chien, a worker at Hoa Cam Industrial Park, said: “The first day back to work was quite fun because all my colleagues were there. After a break, all the workers have returned to work.”
Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tho - President of the Trade Union of Pi Vina Da Nang Company Limited - said that after the Tet holiday, the company welcomed workers back to work on February 3 (the 6th).
"On the first working day of the new year, the company's leaders and the union will welcome, encourage and give lucky money to all employees," Ms. Tho informed.
Pi Vina Da Nang Company Limited is a textile and garment enterprise located in Hoa Khanh Industrial Park (Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City), exporting goods mainly to the US market.
Ms. Diep Van, a worker at Hoa Cam Industrial Park, said that this year her company will start working on the 8th day of the Lunar New Year 2025 (February 5). Therefore, Ms. Van will have more time to rest before starting work.
“Before Tet, the company’s leaders held a year-end party and gave gifts to workers in difficult circumstances. Although it was not much, I was happy to receive the attention and care from leaders at all levels,” said Ms. Van.
