The Red Cross Society of Hung Yen province has just coordinated with the Management Board of Industrial Parks of the province to organize a voluntary blood donation program.
The program has the participation of a large number of officials, workers, civil servants and laborers working in industrial parks in the province.
To ensure that the activities take place safely, the Organizing Committee has developed a plan, deployed propaganda, reminders, and mobilized volunteers to participate in blood donation, fully implement safe blood donation procedures from before, during and after blood donation. At the same time, organize screening, blood tests, blood pressure measurement, and health checks for volunteers before blood donation.
As a result, 538 units of safe blood were received, contributing to emergency care and treatment for patients.
