Sleepless night of a young worker
Present very early at the gathering point of the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park Workers' Culture and Sports Center, Mr. Thanh Cong carried Tet gift bags, his face radiant with a smile. Mr. Cong is currently working at Da Nang High-Tech Park. Unlike the worries about trains and buses of previous years, Tet 2026 for him becomes lighter and more meaningful than ever thanks to the companionship of the Trade Union organization.
Mr. Cong said that he stayed up all night unable to sleep just to wait for the bus to set off. "Last night I stayed up very late to pack my belongings, partly because I was busy completing work, partly because I was too nervous. This is the first year I have received a support ticket from the Trade Union Bus program. The feeling of holding a ticket in my hand is completely different from buying a ticket outside, it brings pride and makes me feel truly cared for," Mr. Cong confided.
Not only is he supported with transportation, he is also given essential necessities gifts. These gifts, although simple, are the careful preparation of the Trade Union, helping workers far from home like him feel warmer on the journey to return to reunite with their families.
For young workers, balancing spending after a year of work is always a difficult problem. The money saved from the free bus ticket helps Mr. Cong have more conditions to buy gifts for his parents in his hometown. He confided that the car ride not only takes workers back to their hometowns but also carries expectations and belief in a more prosperous new year.

The journey of reunion of thousands of workers
According to the plan from the Da Nang City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), the program "Trade Union Bus - Spring 2026" has mobilized a total of 105 bus trips to serve 3,944 union members and relatives returning to their hometowns for Tet. Bus trips will depart continuously for 5 days, from February 11th to February 15th (ie December 24th to 28th of the lunar calendar), spreading to the Central and Central Highlands provinces.
Mr. Le Van Dai, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City Labor Federation, emphasized that the biggest goal of this year's journey is to ensure safety and complete joy for workers. The Trade Union organization has sent officials to directly be present at the starting points to support luggage arrangement, give Chung cakes, candies and wish Tet to each union member, ensuring that no one is left behind.
In parallel with the road, 1,496 train tickets in the "Trade Union Train" program have also been handed over to workers, departing from Da Nang station and Tam Ky station. The careful preparation from the transfer stage to the delegation's farewell programs at the Exhibition Fair Center has affirmed the bridge role of the Trade Union organization. Cars carrying Mr. Thanh Cong and thousands of other workers are rolling, bringing happy smiles, promising a warm and reunited spring throughout the countryside.
